What is Oxygen Infusion?

Oxygen Infusion has a strengthening effect on skin and cellular respiration. This treatment helps the skin be more resilient and give it a glowing appearance. The non-invasive treatment is side-effect-free and its antibacterial qualities reduce irritation. Oxygen infusion helps to aid in the transport of serum.

How does it work?

An oxygen treatment is a gentle, revitalizing treatment that uses air from the room, concentrates it through filters, mixes the oxygenated air with a solution, and creates a high force flow of low molecular liquid with oxygen. High-pressure volumes of oxygen penetrate molecules of serum deep into the skin and oxygen molecules stimulate skin rejuvenation. An oxygen concentrator uses air as raw material and a high-quality molecular sieve as an adsorbent, and adopts the principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) to directly separate oxygen from nitrogen at normal temperatures. Oxygen high in purity is thereby produced.

After an oxygen treatment, clients can expect to see a more refreshed, rejuvenated complexion. It makes anyone look well-rested with a just-back-from-vacation glow. For this reason, the oxygen facial is perfect for special occasions when clients want to look their best with no downtime. The infusion of oxygen and vitamins into the skin encourages the production of collagen, which helps plump up facial features and restore volume and firmness to skin that has lost elasticity. Furthermore, an oxygen treatment helps reverse the effects of environmental pollutants and rejuvenates oxygen-starved skin.

Medical researchers believe that the infusion of oxygen into the skin may help the skin create new cells at a faster pace. This increased cell regeneration helps speed the healing of facial scars, acne, and blemishes.  Oxygen treatments don’t cause any uncomfortable side effects like stinging, burning or redness. The process of delivering the oxygen and serum is quite gentle, which makes oxygen treatment suitable for individuals with sensitive skin and for those who would rather avoid injections or chemical treatments.

What is Ultrasound in a facial?

During an ultrasonic facial, high level sound wave technology is used to penetrate deep below the surface of the skin promoting cellular renewal and repair, toning muscles, increasing blood circulation, encouraging lymphatic drainage, combating puffiness and swelling and improving skin care product penetration. Ultrasound may be used on most parts of the body, including the face, neck, arms, breasts, stomach, waist, hips, buttocks, and legs.

How does it work?

The application of ultrasonic frequency is commonly used by salon professionals to increase cellular turnover, plump up and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, relieve puffy eyes, reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve acne, tighten enlarged pores, fade dark eye circles, freckles and old age spots and even repair scar damage.

The process is safe, painless and gentle and is can even be used by sensitive skin types such as those with Rosacea. The sound waves produced by the ultrasound facial machine resonate well above our hearing level and move too quickly for our nerve endings to register. The intensive rejuvenating cyclic sound waves penetrate below the skin reaching the dermis and will not cause the user any discomfort or unusual side effects.

What is High Frequency?

High frequency (also known as the Tesla high frequency current) was first developed in the late 1800's by a renowned scientist Nikola Tesla. While it offers a number of functions, before the invention of "modern" antibiotics it was largely used for medical purposes to treat infections. Today however it is used by spas and medical professionals throughout the world as an important skin care treatment and program. With its many skin care benefits range from treating acne, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles, puffy eyes and even in some cases thinning hair.

How does it work?

When applied to the surface of the skin, a mild electrical current passes through the neon or argon gas filled glass electrode that creates a glow and buzzing noise. During the high frequency treatment enriched oxygen molecules are produced which have an anti-bacterial action. That reaction causes the body to push away toxins, while the cells in your skin are enriched with nutrients and hydrating properties. High frequency creates increased blood circulation and cell renewal that increases collagen and elastin. Your skin will be left feeling energized, rosy, firm and refreshed.
